I'm a non-conventional Jazz pianist, bandleader, and entrepreneur from Mexico City, now based in Chicago. Self-taught with key mentors, my musical journey spans diverse genres including Old Mexican music, 80s pop, and Jazz. Influenced by Steve Coleman's innovative rhythms, I recorded albums in Mexico and released "Imagery Converter" with my Chicago band on Delmark Records in 2019, earning the Best Debut Album by NPR Jazz Critics Polls. In 2023, I released "Life & Umbrella," inspired by my son with autism. This album captures his inner world and our journey as parents, receiving acclaim from major publications in US, Mexico, Germany and France.
