Music has always been a pivotal part of m.e.h.’s life. She began writing music at as young as five years old and always found a way to incorporate music into her life. Whether that was playing the violin in the third grade, singing in choirs all her life, performing in talent shows, or playing some of her first professional gigs in Annapolis, MD. Now 23 years old, she continues to fuel her passion in Chicago, IL. Since she got to Chicago, she has been performing anywhere she can, writing as much as she can, and working to perfect her craft and honing in on her unique sound; a genre bending mix of of alternative and neo-soul. She received her Bachelor’s degree in music in 2022 to commemorate the years of hard work she has devoted to her craft. She has performed at various Chicago venues, such as: House of Blues, Metro, Sleeping Village, Schuba’s Tavern and currently has a residency at Dorian’s.
