Pablo Alto is the convergence of indie-rock multi-instrumentalist Sergio Luna, jazz keyboardist Pulsar Li, and 6-string fretless bassist Ben Campbell. Their aim is to celebrate the diversity of their musical origins and keep the genre-labelers guessing. Embracing both technology and tradition, the group routinely experiments with sequencers, drum machines, synthesizers, classical arrangements, orchestral sounds, and improvisation in their compositions. Formed in 2023, they have released a studio single and a live EP and continue to embrace the vibrant Chicago music scene today by collaborating with numerous artists, venues, and organizations.
Lus Sangules is the solo side project of John Price, of Minneapolis-based full catholic. In synth-and guitar-toned bedroom recordings with touches of rock, psych and folks, and in reverb-steeped, stripped down live sets, Lus Sangules seeks fleeting crystallizations of spiritual clarity in the inverting torrent of modern experience.
